Our intention is to be fair when evaluating each website that presents its nomination for an Awwwards. For this reason we've created a rating system based on four criteria: Design, Creativity, Content and Usability.

But let's start from the beginning.

When a user submits an Awwwards website, it must first be validated by our team in approximately 24 to 72 hours, checking that it meets the minimum requirements to be submitted to the jury.

Once approved, you will be notified by e-mail and your site will be added to the Awwwards nominees section. In addition, the jury will receive your web site on their control panel, where they will evaluate it, according to the criteria mentioned above. This process can take between 3 and 10 days.

Each website will be reviewed by 10 members of the jury, the system will automatically delete the 2 scores furthest away from the average, in order to avoid errors by the jury, and it will count the scores of 8 judges.

Our system will file the qualifications of the jury and apply the following algorithm of evaluation in order to grant the final score.

And finally, after receiving the final scores of the jury, the Awwwards team will review them again making sure there are no anomalies, asking for a second review by the judges if considered appropriate.

The most valued sites will have the privilege and honour to be considered as "site of the day" and nominated as candidates for "site of the month".
