Awwwards are the awards that recognize and promote the talent and effort of the best developers, designers and web agencies in the world.
An international jury made up of some of the most important designers, bloggers and Internet agencies, will evaluate each site by means of a strict system of evaluation; scoring it on a scale of 1 to 10 for its Design, Creativity, Usability and Content.
Our goal is to create a meeting point where web developers, designers and agencies across the world can share experiences, inspiration and knowledge: A community that bids for a more accessible, usable and beautiful Internet.
Only websites built in HTML and CSS (HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Ajax, etc..) can participate.
Awwwards allows the use of flash for participant websites, but only when it is justified and it does not involve more than 25% of the total content of the website. Besides, alternative content must be provided for mobile devices that do not support flash technology.
The site will be judged by the following criteria: design 50%, creativity 25%, content 15%, usability 10% (See evaluation system).
Each website will be judged by 10 members of the jury, the system will automatically delete the two furthest scores from the average in order to avoid errors by the jury. Only the eight judges will be used in the final account. The jury will take into special account websites that follow W3C standards.

I'm Gopal, a MAC user lover and founder of Convax Solutions. Born and brought up in Trivandrum, Kerala, the southern part of India.
Designer and co-founder at Image Mechanics.
He specializes in user interface design, art direction and concept design. He has worked on projects for clients such as Yahoo, EA, SanDisk, Pepsi, Doritos, Ruffles, Bridgestone, Istanbul MOMA over the past 10 years.
I´m Lobo, Co-funder and Art Director at EGO Buenos Aires. Sports fan and Photography user. In my career I've worked for agencies like Wunderman & R/GA Buenos Aires as Art Director.
