Position type: Part Time - Contract To Hire - Tampa, FL (10+ Hours)

Hourly Rate: $40.00 / Hour


We are looking for a skilled React Native developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React Native concepts and workflows. You will also be responsible for translating UX/UI designs into pixel-perect, functional mobile-apps and for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase.

To ensure success as a React Native developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and React concepts, excellent front-end coding skills, and a good understanding of native and mobile applications. Ultimately, a top-class React Native developer should be able to build modern user interface components to enhance application performance.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Translate UX/UI Designs into pixel-perfect, functional web experiences.
  • Manage and develop React Native app projects.
  • Experience working with and developing component libraries.
  • Develop features to enhance the user experience for various clients.
  • Build reusable code for future use.
  • Read and write to the backend using an API.
  • Setup Authentication with Firebase.
  • Clearly communicate project requirements and progress to project managers.
  • Test and optimize apps across popular mobile operating systems.
  • Help in developing scalable processes for mobile/native development.
  • Deploy work to the App and Play stores.
  • Deploy work to the Chromatic Component Library.
  • Manage code using GIT for Version Control.
  • Implement solid build and deployment processes.


  • 3-5 Years of experience building React and React-Native for Android and IOS.
  • Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio etc.
  • Capability to take advantage of native APIs for deep integration of all platforms.
  • Strong knowledge in designing adaptive screens to support multiple devices and platforms.
  • Experience building and publishing to the play store and app store.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Operational understanding of design programs like Figma.
  • Knowledge of Typescript.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with or creating component libraries.
