Front-End Web Designer / Developer — Interactive, 3D, Shopify

We’re Curio, an AI toy company creating magical, screen-free experiences that inspire imagination and learning. Our products blend play, storytelling, and technology and now, we’re ready to bring that same sense of wonder to our website.

We’re looking for a front-end web designer/developer who’s passionate about crafting interactive, visually stunning, and detail-rich digital experiences. You’ll work closely with our team to evolve our site’s design, UX, and brand identity transforming it into a playful, immersive hub that reflects Curio’s spirit.

What You’ll Do

1. Redesign and rebuild key areas of our site to make it more interactive, engaging, and immersive.
2. Bring Curio’s world to life with animations, sound effects, and 3D elements (WebGL) that enhance storytelling and user flow.
3. Collaborate with our creative team to translate brand identity and vision into polished, pixel-perfect front-end design.
4. Connect your work to our Shopify backend for seamless functionality and performance.
5. Ensure the site is fast, accessible, and mobile-optimized across all devices.

What We’re Looking For

1. Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React preferred).
2. Experience with sound design or interactive audio.
3. Proven skill with CSS animations, WebGL/Three.js, or other creative web technologies.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and passion for pixel-perfect interfaces.
5. Self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to iterate quickly.
6. Bonus: Experience customizing Shopify themes
7. Bonus: Familiarity with tracking and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar technologies.
