When WebGL and branding transform the user experience: the case of Duroc, signed by French studio Bonhomme.

Introduction
As a producer and exporter of cherry tomatoes, Duroc once again called on Bonhomme to reinvent its digital visual universe, while reflecting the brand's fresh, innovative and pop spirit.
For the occasion, the Paris-based design studio produced a universe entirely in 3D, which served as the basis for the redesign of the website. The concept: creating a world that recalls an amusement park to represent the different collections and brand’s values.
Production
From storyboards, animations, modeling and sound design, every step of the way brings Duroc’s pop spirit to life thanks to a lively, ultra-colorful art direction.
Central element of the film, the tomatoes become real characters evolving in a miniature amusement park. They move, bounce and interact with the scenery in a playful choreography.
This constant movement creates a visual dynamic that embodies the brand’s core values: freshness, vitality and accessibility.
The new site transposes the joyful, dynamic world of Duroc through an interactive real-time 3D experience. The aerial view of the film’s various scenes becomes the user’s main playground.
Duroc's colorful world was brought to life using the video's assets. Using the baking principle, shadows are integrated directly into the renderings, allowing for a perfect copy of the video's graphic rendering. The models no longer rely on lighting created in WebGL, allowing objects to have the same color rendering.
Call-to-actions are cleverly integrated into the scenery as you scroll, inviting you to take the experience further.
Each of these interactions triggers the opening of a dedicated page, designed to showcase the brand’s history, products and values, while preserving the graphic and narrative coherence.
Results
Thanks to this unified approach, Duroc benefits from a renewed, expressive and identifiable visual universe. The choice of 3D allows total freedom of tone and rhythm, affirming Duroc's determination to stand out radically in an often highly conventional sector. In this way, the site offers a strong lever for communication and differentiation, positioning the brand as a modern, daring and committed player in its market.
