Living Beyond Breast Cancer
The expansive website Eastern Standard created for Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) features broad-spectrum content for women and men who have been diagnosed with breast cancer — as well as their vast network of supporters and care providers. With offerings that span everything from articles and newsletters to publications, podcasts, transcripts, conferences, webinars, community programs, grants, user-submitted tips, and a telephone helpline — we created advanced search capabilities that provide viewers with multiple avenues for easily discovering and accessing relevant content. Glossary terms within the content are conveniently highlighted with definitions available via hover — a feature that is automatic and easy for LBBC to maintain. In addition, event pages support media files highlighting past events, such as podcast recordings and videos, which are also quickly found via audience or topic search. All of these elements were developed to seamlessly scale with future growth of the site.
