We are an ambitious team who want to create opportunities and desire for everyone to grow both in a professional and personal capacity.
What a day looks like: You will join the Frontend Development team to lead and support on several projects. The role will mainly involve building and maintaining websites, whilst growing with the team and learning about new technologies. Must have ace Angular skills to work on some of our existing websites and apps. Please share your portfolio of sites with us, coffee; chat and digging into those micro animations are our jam.
The successful candidate will work across a wide variety of websites, apps, games and clients with our multidisciplinary tech team. You must have worked in an agency environment and be able to flex across multiple skills and duties, keeping yourself motivated and organised in a friendly environment.
We have a huge drive for Test-Driven development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Pull Requests, but desire to keep our methodologies and processes agile and appropriate for each project.
You have the ability to bring projects to life with tasty micro-animations and smooth transitions
You feel completely at home with the interface between technology and design
Highly skilled at translating designs into user interfaces, including any interactive elements, while also being able to add fun interactions to flat designs with minimal guidance
Your focus is on UX: a component is only finished when it feels perfect
Enjoy working in a team-friendly and collaborative environment with a fun, multi-disciplinary team Have strong problem-solving skills and the resilience to champion their work and ideals
Strongly champion our ideals: diversity, equality, and transparency
You are competent using advanced animation techniques (CSS, GSAP, etc.)
Great knowledge of the basics: HTML, CSS (incl experience using CSS preprocessors such as SASS), responsive layouts, and accessibility
You will be handy with the latest versions of the Angular Framework (or, if you're a React developer that wants to migrate their skills to Angular, that could work out too!)
Has experience with modern JS practices such as npm, webpack and command line building
Familiarity with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch, and the ability to export your own assets from design files to build with.
Experience with WebGL is a bonus!
We are not expecting the successful candidate to be able to tick all the boxes from day one, although we won’t complain if you can, we love “out of the box” creative thinkers so get in touch, either way, we’d love to chat!
