About Wunder Werkz:

 Wunder Werkz is a Denver-based design studio focusing on typography, identity, environmental systems, web development and spatial design. At our core, we are a group of people passionate about using visual language to create unique outcomes. Wunder Werkz has expanded its offerings to the web over the past three years and we are looking to add an experienced, design-forward developer to our (super fun, awesome, amazing and outgoing (for developers)) team. Wunder Werkz’s clients range from development and hospitality to civic and not-for-profit and include some of the most dynamic groups in their fields. 

Job Description:

 Denver-based design studio Wunder Werkz is seeking a Junior Web Developer to: collaborate on UI/UX design with team members, execute web design into code, manage and maintain development workflows and structures, launch projects and just have a dang good old time. We are looking for someone who is motivated and accountable, you will help set expectations and timelines but you will also be held to those. We also want someone who loves to learn, push themselves and try new things, we are in the business of figuring it out and want someone who is committed to helping us find the best solutions while pushing the envelope.

Responsibilities and Duties // Conceptualizing creative solutions for clients • Educate and inform UI/UX design • Collaborate on UI/UX design • Spinning up projects • Implementing/coding web pages or application screens based on web design mock ups and prototypes • Testing developments across platforms • Ensure accessibility of websites and applications • Documenting and maintaining codebases • Participation in weekly status

Qualifications and Skills //1-3 years experience • Knowledge of React and Next.js • Expertise in basic HTML, css/sass and Javascript • Expertise in jquery • Familiarity with Heroku and Vercel pipelines • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills • Understanding of Git and software revision control and code deployment best practices • Strong design eye and attention to detail • Knowledge of true crime podcasts and/or horror movies a plus
