Freelance Senior Interactive Designer

WILDLIFE, an award-winning digital production company, is looking for a freelance Interactive Designer to help us build some of the world’s best digital experiences.

We live by the motto, “Technology changes, story doesn’t.” Our team is versatile and passionate about our ability to translate today’s best practices in visual storytelling to the platforms and user experiences that are only just being invented. Wildlife’s projects extend across web, mobile, television, AR, VR and physical installations where we can often further these skills.

The Responsibilities:

• Execute a range of high-level digital production assignments, including websites/interactive experiences/motion graphics

• Provide production, direction and prioritization of visual UI

• Following of UI workflows and production pipelines, ensuring consistency of interactive and digital design from pitch through production and launch

• Articulate strategic rationale for design decisions across all levels of the organization

• Digital animation prototyping is extra credit

The Must Haves:

• Expert-level knowledge and operation of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma

• Firm grasp of UX and User Flow comprehension

• Passion for design in its many forms across all screens (web, mobile, film, experiential) and in the physical world

• Knowledge of modern web technologies and processes

• Ability to skillfully split time between several ongoing projects

• An A+ attitude

The Basics:

• Strong organizational Skills

• Superb written and verbal communication

• Sense of ownership and pride in work

Experience:

• 7+ Years experience as a UI designer for a reputable digital production company or agency

• Prior use/understanding of Basecamp, Google Drive, or similar programs

• Animation and 3D design (Cinema 4D, Maya) is huge extra credit
