About the Role: 

But enough about us, it's YOU we're excited about. We’re looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and collaborative Digital Art Director to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is well versed in both interactive digital experiences and conceptual campaign initiatives and is a power-house executor—going above and beyond to ensure all work is delivered with a keen eye for detailing and innovation. You will work alongside our Creative Director, digital production designers, and copy teams to concept award-winning digital initiatives and much more —such as integrated campaigns, web, social, and print media. This role will be based in our Union Square NY office(with some flexibility depending on the circumstance).

Salary: $100k - $130k annual


Key Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ideating and designing for client projects and new business initiatives, including responsive digital web/app experiences, marketing campaigns & social activation/content
  • Prototyping of interactions and animations
  • Providing clear and concise direction to production and junior designers
  • Create cohesive design systems for web experiences inclusive of font styles, colors, motifs, and reusable modules
  • Work through UX challenges through problem-solving and design iterations
  • Research comparative/competitive examples on any given initiative
  • Manage a small team of designers and content creators


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years industry experience
  • Must be able to work with creative people in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must be comfortable presenting work internally and externally with senior-level clients
  • Strong ability to organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Strong digital portfolio (websites, campaigns, interactive and mobile experiences)
  • Strong typography skills
  • Ideally has worked on both integrated campaigns and product websites 
  • Strong UX/interaction sensibility
  • Programs: Figma and core Adobe Suite programs like photoshop etc.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive style guides and components in Figma

Bonus:

  • Knowledge of Webflow
  • Experience in print and packaging
  • Animation/motion design experience
  • Ability to develop design systems in Figma
  • Knowledge of CSS and HTML
