Creating people-centered AI experiences, with Google's People + AI Guidebook

Speakers

Join Gabe Clapper, Staff Designer at Google’s People + AI Research team to review the new edition of the People + AI Guidebook - a set of methods, best practices, and examples for designing with AI. Topics include: when and how it's appropriate to use AI, providing users the right level of control and feedback, what to do when things go wrong, building user trust, smart data management, and much more.

You'll also discover the Guidebook’s supporting materials like long-form articles with deeper guidance, real-life case studies, and a customizable workshop for you and your team to apply our guidance directly to your work. The Guidebook’s recommendations are based on data and insights from over a hundred Googlers, industry experts, and academic research. Its 2nd edition, launched in May, was built to be an action-oriented toolkit for your product team to create people-centered AI experiences.
