10 Websites with Keyboard Navigation

Article by Awwwards Team in Web Design - July 05

The presence of keyboard-navigated websites is surprisingly growing in these days of touch screen devices. Why is that happening? Well, there is still something compelling to push a button (a physical one) and provoke a reaction. The use of the keyboard, makes the navigation experience more engaging and interactive for the user, not to mention it is faster and more comfortable for the hand to push a button a couple of times than to scroll endlessly. Sometimes it is only used in certain sections of a website as this navigation mode works better for repetitive tasks like viewing photos in an image gallery, so the use of the mouse is still required in most of this sites. But it is nice to see designers adopting new navigation styles. In this post we have compiled 10 of the best websites you can navigate using your keyboard.
