Stories that move you
Pantheon Media Group unites leading production companies creating standout content, from groundbreaking documentaries and addictive reality to scripted dramas that spark global conversation.
The challenge
The challenge was clear, we had to showcase Pantheon’s vast world of content without it feeling like just another production company site. The goal was to celebrate the network, not the reel.
We built a digital experience that mirrors Pantheon itself, dynamic, interconnected, and alive with energy. Modular storytelling, thoughtful motion, and smart content design tie studios, shows, and stories into one cohesive ecosystem.
A dynamic platform designed to grow with Pantheon’s expanding network of stories, the platform adapts over time while maintaining a consistent, cohesive design language.
Balancing the bandwidth (Many, many videos)
The Pantheon network consists of multiple labels putting out highly polished content across some of the biggest network companies and streaming platforms in the world. So it goes without saying that this site would have a lot of high quality video content.
In development, this introduces an obvious challenge. Our designers wanted fast-cut videos on the home page and a project page with video thumbnails for all the featured shows.
Behind The Scenes Footage
Our client used Vimeo to host their content, but we decided to use direct links to the assets in their account rather than embeds. This gave us more control when handling lazy-loading of assets, and also allowed us to use the same URLs as video textures for our home gallery effect.
Keeping our focus
The stars here are the shows — and the sheer breadth of them. Our job was to let the content shine without the design getting in the way.
We kept things fast, direct, and intentional, using motion sparingly but purposefully. Those quick interactions add energy and craft without ever stealing the spotlight from the work itself.
“Too much content isn’t the problem… making it perform without killing the magic is.”
How we built it, the Frameworks, Libraries + CMS
Pantheon is built with Next.js + Prismic. This is our current go-to combination for small-medium sized marketing sites when we need a CMS that’s flexible enough for clients to build out their own case studies and content pages, while being simple enough to keep our developers time focused on the front-end magic.
As always, we lean on GSAP, Lenis, R3F and Drei to help bring the site to life.

Final thoughts
There are always challenges
The biggest hurdle was balancing Pantheon’s ever-expanding world of content with a brand in transition. The old site felt dated and it didn’t match the scale or ambition of Pantheon’s network. We needed a platform that could flex, evolve, and showcase a huge library of video-led work while still feeling curated, intentional, and unmistakably premium.
Work from solid foundations
Before diving in, make sure the brand direction is locked. A brand still in development can shift mid-project, and when it does, everything else moves with it. It sounds obvious, but eagerness to start can sometimes cost more time later. Brand clarity isn’t just creative; it’s strategic. Get tone, personality, and positioning set early, and every design decision finds its path.
Adaptibility
When Pantheon’s rebrand evolved mid-flight, we pivoted, adjusting tone, motion, and structure to match a new identity. It was a reminder that experiences aren’t just built on precision and perfection from the start, but resilience, and an ability to evolve as the brand does can sometimes work for the better.
