Feels Like is an independent digital design and innovation studio with hubs in Los Angeles and Barcelona, and a global network of trusted collaborators. About the role

We’re looking for a Creative Developer to join our team and help us craft interactive experiences that don’t just function, but resonate emotionally. You’ll be working on projects that range from experimental prototypes to polished launches—blending design, storytelling, and cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate brings a love of interaction design, a deep curiosity for emerging technologies, and the technical ability to make ambitious ideas come alive.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with great attention to detail, a strong aesthetic sense, and a passion for crafting digital moments that feel immersive, playful, and human. Bonus if you’ve explored VR/AR development or creative coding with shaders.

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience with front-end development (React, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript).

Proven experience creating interactive web experiences using WebGL/WebGPU.

Familiarity with shader programming (GLSL, HLSL, or similar).

Strong eye for interaction, animation, and visual design, and ability to collaborate closely with designers.

Experience with real-time graphics, generative systems, or physics-based interactions.

Comfortable working independently, iterating quickly, and experimenting with prototypes.

Open-minded and comfortable using AI frameworks/tools to speed up the coding process — a kind of “vibe coding” awareness.

Bonus: experience with VR/AR development, especially Apple Vision Pro (VisionOS, Metal shaders).

Excellent written and spoken English.

Based in (or willing to relocate to) Barcelona.
