Tim Tadder is not a hairdresser, no. Nor does he do magic. Tim is an acclaimed photographer from Solana Beach, southern California. He specializes in visual communication and advertising photography, making highly stylized, unique and powerful images which draw the viewer to the center of the action. His photos have often featured in well-known media ad campaigns for multinational brands like Coca-Cola, Budweiser and Adidas, among others.

A very interesting project: Water Wigs

It's called Water Wigs and there could be no more appropriate name. His latest project is a visual experiment created by exploding water balloons over the heads of bald hard-men, to capture the moment of the rupture and the shape it creates. It sounds simple, but this technique is more complex than meets the eye: the explosion causes involuntary movements of the models' faces. The team had to use cutting-edge technology, a laser and ultrasound to capture the moment in which the form of the water is best positioned on the head.
As he explains, Tim chose to work with triads of spectacular colors to give the impression of a greater volume of water, while adding a fun and colorful touch to the scenes that produces greater visual interest. The result is sublime, as you can see below.
