The Social Shuffle

The Social Shuffle is a online tool, that helps teachers to make their classroom more social in a fun way. The Social Shuffle is integrated in a simple website and optimized for digital school boards. The tool helps shuffling in the most optimal way: with every new shuffle, children are sat next to different classmates. And by the end of the year, they all know each other better. It is designed as a classroom game: offering a fun and shared experience, supported by wacky emojis, an introductory video, a talking avatar guide, and small assignments. The creative solution is based on a scientific insight: scientists have recently found that switching places in the classroom can significantly improve the relationship between children. It might even prevent bullying. We developed the Social Shuffle for Zorg en Zekerheid: a health insurance brand that invests in social community initiatives. The Social Shuffle is possibly the simplest idea for happier classrooms.
