Today we’d like to showcase some works by artist Levi Van Veluw.  We’ve made a selection of three of his installations: Light, Landscapes and Veneer. The latter is especially striking: the artist created 3 spaces, inspired by his own boyhood bedroom, covered with more than 30.000 wooden blocks, balls and slats respectively, reminiscent of Liza Lou’s work “Kitchen” made out of millions of pieces of glass and which took 5 years to complete (1991 – 1996). Van Veluw’s work is an interesting mix of three genres: self-portraiture, installation and photography.
