Momkai is an independent, digital creative agency founded in 2002 with the aim to design and develop innovative digital projects that truly inspire, inform and interact. We do not compromise on quality, details or performance. Nor do we compromise our commitment to hiring and developing the best people out there. We work in small, focused teams which, much like our projects, are agile, balanced, and focused on excellence. We are driven by work that contributes to improve the user experience and are passionate about the level of detail in our designs.

Momkai is a founding partner of both Lowdi and De Correspondent. To manage their entire editorial workflow we created Respondens as the new publishing editor for journalists. It's designed to fit the needs of storytellers, making it easy for authors to control story streams, create layouts, and extract knowledge from their audience. As an agency we work on global and European projects for Red Bull, Bugaboo, Nike and Zegna. In addition we work for social organisations like the Aids Fonds and on artistic projects like Pete Philly's Open Loops. Clients are based from Iceland to Singapore.

We have developed our own Mimoto CMS to manage the content of various of our projects and the Mimoto Framework as our own universal, reusable software platform. We feel honoured that the quality we aim at is recognized by the respectable juries of award institutions like the European Design Awards, Red Dot Design Awards, FWA, Webbys and the Dutch Interactive Awards.
