Disqus is searching for an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to fill a critical operations role, growing our core system architecture and scaling our backend to serve hundreds of millions of users. The ideal candidate is obsessed with uptime, speed, and reliability, and has years of hands-on experience in a high availability production web environment. You'll be working at our headquarters in San Francisco, CA and will make an immediate impact, tackling the large scale challenges of existing systems as well as designing and building new solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with developers to build high performance, highly-available systems
- Design and architect systems which will be used by millions of people on release
- Analyze and strengthen existing infrastructure to minimize downtime and response times
- Build resilient new systems for emerging products
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation in case something goes wrong
