Your site will remain in competition for approximately 3 months from the time you receive confirmation of your nomination. During this time, Awwwards users and our judges will vote on the site.
Whether or not your site is selected as a winner, you will receive an e-mail from us letting you know the result. However, please be patient and understand that it may take 3 months to determine the outcome.
See “Why didn’t my site win Site of the Day?” for further details.
-
3.12 Why didn’t my site win Site of the Day?
Once approved by the Awwwards team, sites do not only compete with others submitted on the same day. Nominees will be in competition with all sites nominated in the same 3 month period (approx.). Only sites that achieve scores in the top range will be selected.
Since we can’t control the standard of the sites submitted on a given day, this ensures that only really outstanding sites will appear as “Site of the Day”, making things fairer for everyone. For this reason competition is very stiff. To win, your site must be one of the very best submitted over a period of 2-3 months.
Scores are awarded by our jury according to a set of criteria that are as fair and transparent as we can make them. The Awwwards team does not make the final decision.
