To find out more about our evaluation system, please click here.

  • 3.11 I submitted my site for "Site of the Day". It’s been a couple of months and I haven’t heard back. What’s going on?

Your site will remain in competition for approximately 3 months from the time you receive confirmation of your nomination. During this time, Awwwards users and our judges will vote on the site.

If your site is selected, you will receive an e-mail from us. If you have not received an e-mail after 3 months, you have not won "Site of the Day".

See “Why didn’t my site win Site of the Day?” for further details.

  • 3.12 Why didn’t my site win Site of the Day?

Once your site has been approved by the Awwwards team, you should remember you are not only competing with sites nominated on the same day. Your site will be in competition with all other nominees from the same 3 month period.

Since we can’t control the standard of the sites submitted on a given day, this ensures that only really outstanding sites appear as “Site of the Day”, making things fairer for everyone. This is why competition is so stiff. To win, your site must be one of the very best submitted over a period of 3 months.

Scores are awarded by our jury according to a set of criteria that are as fair and transparent as we can make them. The Awwwards team does not make the final decision.
