    Bruce Lawson evangelises Open Web Standards for Opera. He's been active in Web Standards since 2002, working with the Web Standards Project, the W3C Mobile Best Practices Working Group and developer education. He co–authored Introducing HTML5, the first full–length book on the subject.

It’s an approach that helped Hot Studio grow into a full-service creative agency with offices in San Francisco and New York City and one of Inc. Magazine’s Top 5,000 fastest-growing businesses. Recently, Maria joined Facebook as its Director of Product Design.

    Lea Verou

    Lea previously worked as a Developer Advocate at W3C and currently spends her days writing & designing her first book (“CSS Secrets”), published with O’Reilly in 2014. She has a long-standing passion for open web standards, which she fulfils by researching new ways to use them, blogging, speaking, writing, and coding popular open source projects to help fellow developers. She is an Invited Expert in the CSS Working Group, which architects the language itself.

    Tim Loo

    Tim is a Partner at Foolproof, one of Europe’s largest experience design companies. He leads Foolproof’s Strategy & Planning practice, developing and deploying their experience strategy framework, methodologies and expertise across a range of global clients. As a UX strategist, he works with global brands such as Sony, Shell, HSBC and Santander to map and understand their existing customer ecosystems and build the UX vision, roadmap and KPIs for transforming their businesses around the new breed of digitally connected customers.
